Bishnu Prasad Paudel, vice president of Nepal Communist Party UML, has won the House of Representatives of Rupandehi-2. Paudel has defeated Ganesh Paudel, the candidate of the nearest rival Rashtriya Swatantra Party, by 1,366 votes.
According to the final vote results, UML candidate Paudel has received 27,148 votes. Paudel, the candidate of the Independent Party, has received 25,782 votes.
