Nepal had many International referees in different sports. Compared to the past, the number of internationally recognized judges and referees in Nepal is negligible. Only in a few limited games, Nepalis have got the opportunity to play the role of referee and judge in international competitions.
Meanwhile, Nepal's badminton referee and judge Deepak Thapa has played the role of referee in the world class competition. He was a referee in the 2022 Para World Champion Badminton Tournament.
Earlier, he has refereed in various other international competitions.
