A total of 631 new voters have been added to the voter list who would be casting their ballot in the upcoming by-election in Chitwan.

Arun Kumar Chaudhary, a member of the HoR, has been registered in the voter list.

For the elections, if the name is not found in the voter list, they can call the toll-free number 1102.

The printing of ballot papers for the local level election will start today.

According to the final voter list published by the Election Commission, the number of voters in the Far Western Province is 1.632 million. The number of male voters is 800,662, the number of female voters is 831,470.

Election Commission has stated that 20 million ballot papers will be printed for the local level election to be held on 13 April.

State Election Office No. 1, State Biratnagar has conducted an interaction program with the stakeholders on the issue of updating the voter list for the local level election 2079 BS here today.

Ten political parties have registered to participate in the local level election to be held on May 13.

The EC has also approved the election schedule.
