Nepali Congress candidate Chiribabu Maharjan and CPN (UML) candidate Manjali Shakya are leading in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
According to the results, 1,400 votes have been counted so far. Congress candidate Maharjan got 706 votes and UML candidate Harikrishna Byanjankar got 336 votes.
With 1,076 votes counted in the Mahalakshmi municipality, the Maoists have maintained their lead. Shiva Kattel of UCPN (Maoist) got 316 votes and Harigovind Shrestha of UML got 369 votes. Veena Subedi KC of UML got 422 votes and Laxmi Maharjan of Congress got 338 votes.
UML's Chhiring Lama got 353 votes, UCPN-M's Abhishek KC got 226 votes and Congress' Madhusudan KC got 212 votes.
