The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against four persons, including the then branch manager of Rastriya Banijya Bank, Jumla, Ram Janak Chaudhary, on the charge of colluding to take advance in the contract and forging the bank guarantee of the contractor.

VT / Toudah / Fusku JV, which was awarded the contract for construction of Sonapur Cement Factory Road, has filed a corruption case against them on the basis of forging the advance payment guarantee letter and renewal letter of the guarantee letter.

Authorities have also filed corruption cases against three construction companies in connection with the incident.

Authorities have filed a case against BT Construction Services and director Madhav Prasad Bhandari, Fusku Construction Services and proprietor Arjun Bahadur Budhathoki and Toudah Construction representative Punna Bahadur Shahi.

Authorities claim that Chaudhary, the then branch manager of Banijya Bank Jumla, committed fraudulent work by preparing a fake advance payment guarantee to get the advance of the contract. According to the authority, the managers and representatives of the contractor company have become hypocrites.
