CPN-UML candidate Rajendra Kumar Rai has been elected in Dhankuta.
He was elected behind Sunil Bahadur Thapa of Nepali Congress by 1,397 votes.
According to UML Rai has got 31,101 votes while Congress candidate Thapa has got 28,704 votes.
